You don’t have to be a monk to meditate.
A common misconception is that you have to be some sort of spiritual guru to get anything out of meditation. This is simply not true. Meditating is a way to tap into your inner self, quiet the mind and listen to what you really want out of life. We meditate to get good at life, not to get good at meditation.
